Why We Opened the Gates
It started with one more chance to play.
There was no grand plan. A few coaches simply believed the season should not be the end of baseball for children who still wanted to play.
So the gates opened on a Sunday evening at The Field of Dreams. No standings. No draft arguments. No pressure. Just kids, volunteers, and the game.
