Equipment Closet
A glove should never be the reason a child stays home.
The Sandlot League Equipment Closet collects usable baseball gear and places it back into the hands of children who need it.
Families are welcome to bring what they have. When equipment is available, volunteers will help a player find something safe and suitable to use.
Equipment we can use
- Youth baseball gloves in usable condition
- Bats appropriate for participating age groups
- Batting helmets that meet current safety requirements
- Baseballs, catcher's gear and training equipment
- New equipment donated by individuals or community partners
Before donating used safety equipment
Please contact us before bringing helmets or protective equipment. Some items may need to be declined because of age, condition or safety standards.
Request or donate equipment
No child or family should feel embarrassed to ask. Equipment availability changes, but we will help where we can.
